Ghostly Call   
 It was nearly daybreak when they reached Barn Haven, home of the Greywings. Shield and Blaze kept going closer while Orestes decided to hang back since an owl might cause more problems then necessary. The two landed inside on one of the rafters. The place seemed as busy as ever, there were bats flying everywhere and commotion was going around too, some of the bats stared at the two Silverwings as they landed, but switched gaze to continue talking.   
"What, no welcoming party?" Blaze whispered to Shield as he glanced over the Greywing colony around him. Shield observed around th Ghostwing Chapter 9

Another Expedition   
 It was the early evening the next day, while most of the bats were still asleep. Shield, Blaze, Aurora and Orestes were on top of Tree Haven. The sun was slowly setting over the sky as the sky itself started getting darker and darker and the air cooling around it. One by one, stars started appearing in the sky as the evening was slowly turning into night.   
 “You wanted to see us this early for a reason?” Shield asked.   
 “Yes, first off I’d like to thank you both for saving them, and as promised, the job is yours,” Aurora rep Ghostwing Chapter 8

Peace before the Storm   
 Brimstone and flames danced all around him; bodies of bats and owls flitted through his vision as they fell lucidly from battle, dying as they went. The sound of claw on claw fighting persisted, becoming a macabre-laced background to the screams of pain and agony. The screams pierced his ears again and again, making them throb with pain; in an instant, everything went as black as the dead of night.   
Slowly, Shield’s eyes open revealing foggy haze around him, even with his echovision, he could only hear static. Slowly, they both started to clear up. How long have Ghostwing Chapter 7

Unwanted Curse, Rebuked Evil   
Shield eyed where Orestes was, his gut was telling him it was trap, but it wasn’t like him to leave someone behind.   
“If it’s a trap then I’ll fall for it.” He muttered under his breath. Then flew over to Orestes.  
“Hold on, I’ll get the lock open.” Shield stated then started working on the lock before finally prying Orestes cage open.   
“Thanks,” Orestes replied gratefully.   
“Anytime,” Shield answered
